I'm Eliza – a former corporate marketer, mom, and wife. I played by the rules: college, career, the expected journey to success. Yet, amidst those accomplishments, I found myself stuck in a repetitive work cycle. "There's got to be more to this," I often pondered. I yearned for freedom – the freedom to travel on my own terms, free from the constraints of limited vacation days and the monotony of a 40-hour workweek just because "that's the norm."
Fast forward, life threw me a curveball with a layoff. After the initial shock, a seed of thought that had been quietly growing for years finally sprouted: "What if this is my chance to build something of my own?"
